Hello Everyone.

Please pardon this second email in less than a week.  Many of you have been inquiring about how to be a part of the film that will be shooting at THE NEON, and we just got notes from the production office...so I wanted to pass them along to you.

We're only open for 5 more days before the CORNER STORE film crew takes over THE NEON for 2+ weeks of filming.  We will be closed Oct. 14-29...reopening on Oct. 30 (with WICKER)!  The section below is from the CORNER STORE Production Team regarding their Casting Call for Background Actors (aka "Extras" - these are non-speaking roles).  If you're interested in being in the film, this could be your chance.  Please read over everything carefully and understand that THE NEON has nothing to do with the casting of this film.  We understand that this is likely new territory for many of you.  If you have questions about this process, please direct them to: hellocornerstoremovie@gmail.com

I have personally done this kind of work before.  Though I have loved my experiences working as an extra, many consider it quite "boring."  I want to make sure you know that most of your day on set will be spent waiting for the crew to need you for a particular scene/shot.  If selected, my best advice is "bring a book."

Thursday, Oct 22: 15 People (Pride Film Festival + Oscars Party scene)Wardrobe
Requirements: Bring 2 outfits (1 casual, 1 dressy).
Pride Festival Look: Wear vibrant colors/pride gear. Avoid crazy or tight, distracting patterns.

Friday, Oct 23: 2 People (A normal day at the Neon)

WEEK 3

Monday, Oct 26: 10 People (A normal day at the Neon – Movie Audience)

Tuesday, Oct 27: 2 People (A normal day at the Neon)

Wednesday, Oct 28: 4 People (A normal night at the Neon)

📋 PRODUCTION & ON-SET NOTES

Catering: Meals and snacks will be provided based on call times.

Time Commitment: Please be prepared to be on set all day and to have potential long wait times. We will provide specifics on timing with your booking confirmation!

💄 WARDROBE, MAKEUP & GROOMING GUIDELINES

Lashes & Nails: We are going for a natural look on screen, so please no false eyelashes, extensions, or gel/long nails. Soft flesh tones or light pink polish work best.

Makeup: Please bring your personal makeup bag with you. Apply mascara to your top lashes only, and bring along light lip shade options for touch-ups if you have them!

Tattoos: If you have heavy tattoo work, plan to keep them covered with wardrobe.

Sun Care: Please try to avoid extra sun exposure before your filming day.

Grooming: If you have facial hair, please bring your standard shaving kit just in case the team asks for a quick trim on set.
