Hello Everyone!
Wow! The last few days have been absolutely spectacular at THE NEON. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to make such great waves with POOR THINGS and THE COLOR PURPLE...both have seen enthusiastic crowds. These two films will take us into 2024 - both are holding for another week!
In January, our schedule is still up in the air as distributors make decisions regarding how to roll out films across the country. That said, we plan to open ALL OF US STRANGERS (a film that's making many critics' "Top 10" lists for the year) on January 19, and we hope to get to FALLEN LEAVES sooner than later (a film that will almost certainly get an Oscar nomination). Click on either title to learn more about each.
Our Annual Fund Campaign is in place through the end of the year to ensure we can continue to grow in 2024. If you haven't read our 2023 wrap-up letter, please click HERE to check it out. As a reminder, THE NEON is a registered 501(c)(3), and charitable donations are tax deductible.
On Monday, Jan. 1, "Open Caption Monday" will return. Both films - THE COLOR PURPLE and POOR THINGS - will be presented with captions on the screen. In addition, THE NEON does offer closed caption devices, audio assistance headphones, and narrative description headphones when films have these features available. As a reminder, seating is only "reserved" for traditional engagements on weekends and during select special events.
