We're happy to report that we're able to bring the Oscar-winning film for "Best Feature Length Documentary" - MR. NOBODY AGAINST PUTIN - for a limited engagement starting this Friday (March 20). If you watched the Academy Awards on Sunday night, you likely saw the passionate acceptance speech from the film's two directors. In addition, tomorrow evening (March 19), we're opening TOW - a movie based on a true story starring Rose Byrne and an amazing ensemble including Dominic Sessa, Simon Rex, Demi Lovato, Ariana DeBose and Octavia Spencer!

PEAKY BLINDERS: THE IMMORTAL MAN will stick around for one show per day for one more week.  If you still need to see SIRAT or NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE, you only have through tomorrow (Thu, March 19) to see them with us.

On Thursday, March 26, we'll open the new Marisa Tomei comedy - YOU'RE DATING A NARCISSIST.  Tickets for that first screening on the 26th are already on sale.

"Open Caption Mondays" are much appreciated by many of our regulars.  On Monday, March 23, our screenings of TOW and PEAKY BLINDERS: THE IMMORTAL MAN will be presented with Open Captions (aka - captions presented on the screen).

Synopsis for TOW: "Based on a true story, TOW follows Amanda Ogle (Rose Byrne), a woman living in her aging Toyota Camry on the streets of Seattle. Synopsis for MR. NOBODY AGAINST PUTIN: This year's Oscar winner for "Best Feature Length Documentary" is heading to THE NEON for a limited engagement starting March 20! "As Russia launches its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, primary schools across Russia’s hinterlands are transformed into recruitment stages for the war. Facing the ethical dilemma of working in a system defined by propaganda and violence, a brave teacher goes undercover to film what’s really happening in his own school."

TURNER & CONSTABLE - 
Exhibition On Screen at THE NEON

THIS SUNDAY! "Celebrating the 250th anniversary of their births, this unmissable new documentary explores Turner and Constable’s intertwined lives and legacies alongside the groundbreaking Tate exhibition. Two of Britain’s greatest painters, J.M.W. Turner and John Constable were also the greatest of rivals. Born within a year of each other, both used landscape painting to reflect the changing world around them."
This Tate exhibition is one of the busiest in recent history...and you get a front row seat!

PEARL JAM

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, A WOMAN OF THE WORLD (1925) follows a liberal European countess, played by Pola Negri, who scandalizes a small, mid-Western American town with her unapologetic independence, sharp wit, and tattooed arm.  This classic, silent film has been paired with Pearl Jam - one of the most influential rock and roll bands, which continues to sell out stadiums. 

Pearl Jam's nonprofit foundation, Vitalogy, will donate earnings from this project to Austin Women's Health, a local provider supporting reproductive care in Silents Synced creator's hometown - a further nod to the project's core themes of activism, female empowerment, and creative courage.

A post-screening discussion will be led by Miranda Brooks, Justice & Inclusion Administrator of Dayton's Human Relations Council.

Join us at 3:00 on Sunday, March 29, 2026 for the debut fundraising event of the SHE-Roe organization. "Together, we will experience a powerful cinematic journey honoring the stories, beauty, and resilience of the African American woman with a screening of FOR COLORED GIRLS - starring Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and more.
This afternoon event is donation-based, with a suggested contribution of $15 or greater. Your gift directly supports SHE-Roe’s mission to elevate women’s voices through storytelling, community, and empowerment."

"This concert film was shot in October, 2022, over two nights at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. More than 70 artists gathered with family, the Nashville community, and music fans to remember and pay tribute to the life and songs of John Prine.

"Crafty Cinema for a Cause" is back!Get ready for an afternoon of creativity, entertainment, and social activism at Crafty Cinema for a Cause at THE NEON hosted by the Savage Stitcher (Angie). This unique charity event brings together the joy of crafting with the magic of film, all while supporting Gem City Action. Bring your own craft project that you can work on in your seat, such as crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, etc. and we will all enjoy an afternoon showing of CLUELESS with the lights up so you can work on a project. This is a free event with a suggested donation of $20 that will be collected at the door with all proceeds going to Gem City Action. There are a limited number of seats available for reservation on Eventbrite (payment will still be collected at the event) and the rest will be offered as first-come-first-serve at the door.
